Kinja'd!!!

So 3.5 weeks ago I landed an internship with a restaurant marketing company. It consists of sitting at a desk from 9am to 6pm. It had the possibility of turning into a paid position but after 2 weeks I wanted out. My internship ends this week and instead of continuing that I've decided to go back to Italy, spend a month or two brushing up my language skills, and looking for a driver instructing job. I'm giddy with excitement!

A little context would be helpful here. Are you Italian and learning a language in another country or something?

9 am to 6 pm sounds like really long hours for an Italian. ;)

I'm an American currently in London but I spent 8 months last year in Italy. I'm also an Italian citizen but before last year my only experience with the culture was stories from my dad, a quick 3 day trip through the country when I was 15 and 2 semesters of Italian in college.

Ha! I was just in London a few weeks ago. I think I'd rather be in Italy (if possible) as well. Either way, sounds like you've got a lot of options.
